funny call

Yesterday, after i back home from school, i received a phone call. Below were the conversation between us....

S: Are you pei lin? are you still in the college?
Me: I am not in the school. finish class already.
S: Don't you have your malaysian studies from 3pm-5pm?
Me: Today, i don't have class.
S: Ok. I am miss sheela from the Arts and social school. Can you come to look for me on Monday?
Me: huh? why?
S: I need you to help me to distribute the teaching survey form to your fellow classmates.
Me: huh?
S: We had chosen you because you have been voted as a responsible student. (i am thinking at the same time and mumble in my heart with doubts that why would she think that i am a responsible student where i skipped classes and did not passed up my assignments sometimes? Who are "they" that think that i am a responsible student?)
Me: hmmm....
S: When will you reach college on Monday?
Me: by 8am.
S: That's good that you reach so early. ( Actually, i don't like to be in college so early. No place for me to go as there are not much places for me to hang around. Usually, i will sit alone at a very quiet corner in library to read some stuffs and probably i will do some revision. The library is so cold that i feel that i am in a freezer till i am shivering. I can't study in library because i am not that person who like to study in library. No choice. I would like to be outside of the library but it is very hot outside.) Please come to look for me in 8.30am.
Me: Ok. ( No choice but i have to say "yes")
S: see you then. Bye
Me: Bye.

A lot of question marks in my mind. Why don't they ask my two class representatives to meet her? I don't think i know all my classmates till now. I am not being calculative for doing things but i think it will be more suitable for my class reps to do these. Anyway, i also have to meet her on Monday. Let see what will happen.

Obama vs Mc Cain

Next Tuesday is the election of US. There are two candidates who are competing to become the President of US, Obama and Mc Cain. Frankly, i support Obama and i hope he can make changes in US and to the world as US is still one of the powerful countries and influences the stabilization of other countries in this world. Could he win? Could he overcome the discrimination and the perspectives of Americans towards the skin colour? I think the result will determine the maturity and the perception of most of the Americans. Through the result, we will know that whether the Americans can accept the black to lead them. Now, there are some people voicing out that if Obama win, he will be assasinated. According to some polls, Obama is leading in some states. However, politics are very complicated and difficult to predict. It will be changing all the times. Let us see the result on next wednesday. Hopefully, he can win and create a history to US and the world >>> The first black person to become President of US.

happy and excited ^___^

Raymond Lam's signature on his 1st album

Last night( as now is nearly 1am), i went to Raymond Lam meeting fans session in Pavilion. Frankly, i am really not a big fan of him. I like to watch Hong Kong series especially TVB drama. He is one of my favorite actors. Actually, the main purpose of mine to Pavilion at first was to celebrate my little brother's birthday who is on 25th of October but we ended out going to his session.

There were lots of people to look at Raymond Lam including aunties and foreigners. While i am at the crowd, i heard most of the people said that he is extremely handsome and they like his character in moonlight resonance(one of the recent TVB series), "guan jia zai". For those who do not watch this drama, he is a very filial son and being faithful on his relationship with Yu shu qiu ( starred by Linda Chung). The drama is nice but it is a bit long (40 episodes).

I did something unexpected with my little brother's girlfriend, Mika. When we were squeezed in the crowd, we decided to buy his CDs in order to let him to sign on them. We spent RM60 to buy 2 of his albums. Then, we went to line up. At first, the line was in order but within few minutes, all the people started to push and cut queue. So angry of the people for behaving like that. I saw a mom who brought along her little children to cut queue. I knew everyone will like to get his signature but please show a good example to her children. What her mother did will show a bad example and indirectly instilled her the incorrect value.

While we were waiting for our turns, it was packed like sardine and everyone is pushing around. We felt regretted half way as we are being irrational to queue up to get his signature. Actually, this is the first time for two of us to do such crazy thing. I did not been like that though for my favorite singers. Finally, after about 1 hour, we successfully got his signature. Mission complete.

Love shaped card specially in Malaysia

His newest album with his signature ^^

~~both albums~~

Thanks to my little brother for grabbing the poster for us:)

I think this will be the first and last time i did such thing. Feel happy to see him in real yet i feel so tired. Anyway, i had a nice day ^^

Leo Club

Leo Club gave me lots of memories for my life in secondary school. I joined the club when i was Form 2 and i learned and encountered a lot of things there that shape part of me for the person i am now.

Leo which stands for Leadership, Experience and Opportunity are few of the elements that cultivated me when i was there. The motto is we serve. I went to the orphanage houses and the old folks' home very often and i knew the value of 'we serve' in depth. I have been participated the activities organized by Lions Club and frankly i gained the experiences to deal with people.

The thing that i miss most is times that i spent with my fellow friends there. We were given opportunities to organize functions. During the preparation of the functions whether it is big or small projects, we have been going through the hard and happy times and moments. We were scolded by our very fierce seniors, we were being rejected when we looked for sponsorship, our ideas were being banned by our seniors, we were scolded by our advisors and the headmistress, we skipped classes for the preparation, we did not sleep the whole night before the function, we stayed back after school every day and be at the school the whole day in saturday, we begged the guard to open the gate early in the morning to let us be in the school, we begged the guard to let us stay till 1am in order for us to finish our things the night before the function, we heard some 'unusual' sounds and we ran back shivering, we ate ice-cream and cakes at the wee morning, we cried together and complained our seniors who treated us so fierce, we felt pressure because we were scolded by parents due to the falling results,etc....There are still lots of things that i did not mentioned and left out. Some of the memories i can't describe with words but it will be a diary to me that i will remember forever:)

After being BOD, we had lots of misunderstandings each other and we quarreled a lot. We are so near but yet our hearts are so far from each other. Frankly, the memories after i had been BOD is really unclear. I can't remember much about that. The times and moments i miss most was when i was just an ordinary Leo but not being BOD.

This post is specially dedicated to all my leo friends---Ei Mun ( UK), Yen Yi ( SJMC), Wei Qi (Hong Kong), Hor Yuet (Singapore), Hor Pooi (Australia), Hsiao Lynn ( UKM), Yi Wen (Korea), Ee Mi( US), Jia Yu (UMS), Jia Min and Mei Chi (working), Adelynne, sook wan... The times and moments we spent whether it is sweet, sour, bitter or difficult will always stay in my heart.
To my seniors and juniors in Leo Club, a sincere big thanks to all of you:)
~~all the best to all of you no matter you are studying or working ^^

...

I want to blog but i am very tired recently. Studying become my priority in my life at this moment. I wish that i could have more hours in 1 day. Time is not enough for me. I need enough time to sleep. I need enough time to have my pleasure time. I need enough time to read my favorite novels. I wish...

I am feeling so relief since i had told my friend, K all the things. No need to hide from K anymore. No secrets. Being honest and truthful is such a wonderful and nice thing. At least, i did not need to lie to k because i did not want to reveal my secret to K. feel so good now.

I got 33 out of 50 for my interviewing client test for legal skills. The lecturer told me i am doing quite well but i just ignore what he told me. Maybe i feel that i did not do well enough. I am not longing for high marks but i just feel that i can do better in some aspects. I hope that i will do well in my mooting later. I don't desire for high marks but i just want to do my best.

Just chatted with Yin Yinn, my good friend in secondary school. She encounter some problems that i have been through before. I did encourage her a lot and i hope she can overcome and go through it. Jia You, Yin Yinn! i will be there to support you ! Be confident and be brave! you can really do it ^___^

May all of you have a nice week ahead of you.

homesick

I am seriously homesick. The last time i back to Ipoh is at July. I must be back home next week no matter what happen. Home is the best place in the world. The warmness is nothing can compare anywhere and everywhere even the luxurious place in the world ( i really don't have idea where is the luxurious place in the world). I admit that i am the person who choose to stay at my house rather than going out to shop without any reasons or thimgs to buy). I can consider myself quite rational in buying things.

Just one more week and i can back home. Home sweet home, here i come!

thought

I had come out lots of thoughts these few days. I encountered different situations and i have a different view towards the people and life. I am not posting them now because i need time to form in words. I will just summarise it in a few sentences. Sometimes, i dislike the common perception of the society. I knew if i want to walk in a different way to what they believe in, i will be alone to walk on the road that is less travelled by others. Despite that, i still don't have the courage to walk in a different way that others used to be. I will gradually lost myself and follow what others think what is correct. Is this my desire? I don't think so. Sometimes, people laughed or looked down on you because you act and think differently. However, be dare to overcome the society's yardstick in 'measuring' a person. I am learning to instill myself about this as i knew that all the while, i care others think who i am. From this moments, i am just want to be myself. I am really who i am. I am not being arrogant or spreading the value to be individualistic but i am very tired for the 'measurement' of the society.

I am okay!

I am at the computer lab of my college now. Since the line in my house had some problems, i can't online at home. To those who read my my blog, the previous post of mine is making others worried of me. Thanks a lot but i am feeling better and i am okay! No worries! I think i had solved all the doubts in my mind all the while. I had settled my passport and i will get my student verification letter next Monday. Then, i can apply visa on the following day. After all, i can consider settle all my things. The duration i stay there is depend on the visa issue by the embassy.

This week, i will surely pack with assignments. Lots of assignments with different due dates. Assignments are coming like no ending and i have started to accept the truth. If i study this difficult course, my life and workload as a student will surely be hectic compared friends who are taking other courses. So, i won't be so serious and feel so pressure about it. Just treat the assignments as exercises. The lists of my assignments:
1) criminal law- 4 questions( 2 to be handed next week and the others will be handed in before semester break)
2)public law- 1 question (hand in at the end of October) and another 1 will be given next week
3) Common law- too much that i did not count them
4) contract law - will be given either the end of oct or the beginning of nov)

The exam will be coming soon. I have to start doing revision gradually. I do not want to burn midnight oil again. Lots of things to be remembered. Let me study hard before my vacation during december!

Gloomy

I really can't explain my feeling now. i can't even explain the reason i am behaving like that. Things are messing around. Life is so untidy that i think it is time for me to tidy up my own things. I just need a few days which are totally for myself only. Without going to classes, without assignment, without any electrical gadgets, without everyone, just the only me to keep my things in a correct sequence. I am not greedy. I just need a few days. Music used to be healing my heart and soul but it does not work now. Anyway, i know i will get well soon. Don't worry, time will be the best medicine to cure my gloominess.

miss

Suddenly, i miss the life when i was in MMU. Though it is just 6 month, it brought me lots of memories that i will put in my heart forever and ever. Once, i feel regret to leave there, but, i knew i can't because i have to be responsible for what i have chosen. I still remember i went there without any friends and i feel so scared. Luckily, i met a lot of nice and friendly people there. Thanks for mika's help that i can find a nice place there to live. The condominium that i live is consider the best place to live near my campus.

The 1st day i went there, i met two gentlemen, Kelvin & william. Both of them are Soka's members. They purposely waited me at MMU and brought me back to the condominium. William is an Ipoh-ian whereas kelvin is a penang-ite who can't speak well in cantonese. Then, i used the whole day to settle down all the things. The next day, i met my another housemate, shin yee. She is really helpful and brought me to walk around the campus though she is very busy in preparing shi bian. I found out that she is my classmate too. Then, she asked me to be the working committee for shi bian and i joined the event. Frankly, i am lucky enough. There, i met michelle, choi yee and chew yee whom they treat me really well. I gained a lot through this event and i found out that debate is really interesting. I knew more about debate and i love watching the competition. I am so touched by choi yee's gesture. My high heeled shoes made my leg so painful and choi yee exchanged her comfortable high heeled shoes with me. Both of us also have to do lots of things and she is still willing to do so. I still miss the time when we sat facing the big field chit-chatted our dreams when there was free time duing the shi bian.

After this event, i am closer with chew yee and michelle. We almost have dinner together every night and we always went out yum cha. Sometimes, we did go to malacca town to yum cha. Thanks michelle or ah heong for driving us here and there. I really miss the moments we spent together.

Later, i knew more classmates through shin yee such as ellie, dee ming, siang ly, shook mei, apple and alan. Not forgetting yee chian, lenneth, hui lian, weng man, kei vin, etc. Ellie, thanks a lot for always there to accompany me and helping me. Dee Ming and siang ly , i miss the time when we did the chocolate for the whole night and just slept for few hours before we went to classes. Shook Mei and apple, thanks for always helping me in my studies and always nudge me through msn whenever we are having assignment. Thanks Alan who is always driving me here and there. I still remember that when you found out that i took bus alone to do some errands before i back to hometown, you phoned me and said you want to fetch me. We end out meeting at Mahkota parade and we ate cakes near the mahkoda parade. I also remembered that when there is one time we represented our group to do presentation for malaysian legal system and we had to wear formal. At first, he did not want to wear but he also wore it after i persuaded him to wear. Besides, he bought a piece of secret recipe cake for me though we had final that time. Thanks a lot to you. Personally, i think that you are really a good person though sometimes people think that you are not.

Furthermore, I miss the time i had been with my housemates which are Kelvin, Shin Yee and Khai Herng. They are being so helpful and i really miss every single thing there. Thanks for what they did for me. Thanks a lot for celebrated my birthday albeit busy preparing for final. Thanks khai herng for always sharing lots of thoughts and secrets with me.

Being in MMU for 6 month brought me lots of fond memories that i will put in my heart and mind forever. I think there is no where else that i can find such friendly, helpful and kind friends in my university life. I am being really frank.

Lots of things that i haven't finish including assignments which i am so afraid of. The assignments are too much that i can't really take it. I am very slow in doing assignment. I am very easily distracted by things especially when the time i am doing assignment. I can't sit still at a place for more than 30 minutes. Want to remind myself pay attention and be concentrate! Jia you to myself ^___^ i knew i can make it!
