Nakamise-Dori is a street leading from "thunder gate" to temple which sells souvenirs, snacks & foods. There was a festival when i went that day. The place was packed with people. Furthermore, raining worsen the situation. I think it is another way to experience different lifestyle.
Sensō-ji (金龍山浅草寺) is the oldest temple in Tokyo & it is dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy (Guan Yin).
The pagoda of Sensō-ji
The Japanese will put it at the corner of the house believing to chase away the evil spirit on certain day( certain festival).
Worshippers burned incense at Sensō-ji. They will use their hands directing the smoke to themselves as it is believed to bring luck to them.

One need to pay 100 yen to get the omikuji
If the omikuji one get is not good or even bad luck, one need to tie it here.
